We would like to give you some history about ourselves, and tell you a little bit about what we do and how we do it.  Roy L. Crume began selling Auctions in the 1940’s.  Prior to that, his family had been in the Auction business for over 30 years. Cartwright Ellis joined Roy in 1977, and they were partners until Roy retired in 1988.  We like to think that we continue to carry on the tradition of a full service Auction company, serving the needs of Howard and the surrounding counties.  We specialize in the sale and marketing of all types of personal property and real estate. The Auction method of selling is a very effective marketing method, and has been used for thousands of years.  A professionally organized Auction truly becomes a superior method of selling if the item to be sold is extremely unique in character. This is why the most unique and most expensive items on the face of this earth are sold at Auction.  I am sure you are aware of the different types of art, jewelry, collector automobiles, antiques, and real estate that are constantly being sold at Auction.  We at Crume/Ellis Auctioneers follow this same philosophy in our Auction marketing strategy.  For information, and a confidential interview, please call Crume/Ellis Auctioneers.  We will be happy to answer your questions.
